Albuterol Training

This training provides essential guidance for safely recognizing and responding to respiratory distress in schools, universities, and other public settings. Designed for staff and authorized individuals, the course teaches how to identify early warning signs of breathing emergencies, differentiate between asthma-related distress and severe allergic reactions, and take appropriate action.

Participants will learn how to properly prepare and administer a stock albuterol inhaler, support an individual during an emergency, and determine when to escalate care, including activating emergency medical services. The course also covers critical steps for safe disposal, documentation, and post-incident follow-up.

By the end of this training, learners will be equipped with the knowledge and confidence to respond quickly and effectively, helping to protect health and save lives.

Before you begin, please review the requirements for completing the Stock Albuterol Training by Belay. This course consists of a single instructional video followed by a Post-Course Quiz. To receive a certificate of completion, you must watch the full video and achieve a minimum score of 80% on the quiz.

This training is designed to be completed individually and in one sitting to ensure a clear understanding of proper response procedures during a respiratory emergency.
